Giving Back to San Jose - ALS and CityTeam
Between 2019 and 2020, the pandemic brought about the lockdown of cities and many countries, and took away basic needs from everyone, especially the less fortunate. CityTeam San Jose's mission is to create lasting solutions to people struggling with food insecurities, homelessness, domestic violence, and other life disabling circumstances and behaviors. Serving San Jose's community since 1981, Piedmont donated $50,000 to ALS and CityTeam, providing those in need with essential items such as diapers, groceries, fresh produce, hot meals, backpacks, school supplies, and Christmas toys.
Supporting Youth Riders Through South County Composite
At Piedmont Moving Systems, community involvement is part of who we are. Our President, Mark Beltramo, proudly volunteers as a coach with the South County Composite Youth Mountain Bike Organization—a team that brings together 6th–12th grade students from Morgan Hill, San Martin, and Gilroy. Aligned with NICA’s mission, this program provides a fun, safe, and supportive environment for young riders to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the outdoors. We’re proud to support local youth as they challenge themselves and grow—on and off the trails. Visit their website to learn more!
