At Piedmont Moving Systems, we are proud to give back to the community and we are thrilled to announce our new partnership with the Stanford University Medical Center. They are currently undergoing a major renovation project to some of their largest centers including the Stanford Hospital, Hoover Medical Campus, Stanford University of Medicine, and the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. We recently signed a two year contract with the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital for all of their warehousing needs throughout the process.

The Project: Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital

Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford is a nationally ranked hospital for many pediatric specialties ranging from cancer to neurology to pulmonology. They are currently adding an additional 521,000 square feet to their 300,000-square-foot hospital.  This growth will allow them to have more private rooms, additional beds, improved family suites, and plenty of growing room for future advancements made in the medical field.

No child should ever have to spend their childhood in the hospital. The expansion will allow the medical professionals at Lucile Packard to provide their patients with better care and more amenities to comfort them throughout their ailment.  It will also enable them to treat them with more advanced methods that can hopefully cure their patients and permit these children to return to their homes and childhoods.
