The movers in San Jose continue to make sure babies stay safe at their daycare facilities. In 2011, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) ruled that certain types of baby cribs were deemed unsafe, and were in need of replacement across the nation. Through our partnership with the Kaplan Early Learning Company and other Mayflower local moving agents, we have increased the number of markets served in the U.S. from seven in April to 25 currently. This is huge, and we are happy to manage the logistics for these markets.

After the cribs are delivered to our warehouse facility, we assemble them, schedule a target delivery date and then we arrive at the daycare facility to deliver the cribs. We remove the recalled cribs and destroy them for the daycare.

To date we have delivered around 5,500 cribs. In just a few short months, since April, the San Jose movers have helped deliver 1,500 cribs. This crib delivery initiative began in October of last year, and will continue for the rest of 2012. Even during our peak moving season - summer - we will continue to build the cribs in our warehouse and deliver them to all size daycare centers in the Bay Area. Our largest thus far was a shipment of 80 cribs to Genentech's employee daycare center in San Francisco.
