Hotel De Anza is a treasured piece of San Jose’s history. Originally built by innovative architect and builder Carl Swenson in 1931 as the “San Jose Hotel” and then later restored by his son, Barry and renamed “The De Anza Hotel” in 1990, the building has long been an iconic feature in the city. Named after the legendary explorer, Juan Bautista de Ana, the Hotel De Anza now is a beautiful modern feature with 101 rooms preserved with the original Art Deco Mission and Spanish Colonia styles in its architecture.

We are proud to announce that Piedmont Moving Systems will be working with the hotel during their next renovation project as the Hotel De Anza continues to stay ahead of the times to maintain itself as one of San Jose’s premier boutique hotels. The hotel is remodeling 99 bathrooms as well as bringing in new furniture to complement the beautifully restored interior.

During the entire 6-month renovation project, our San Jose warehousing company will be handling the warehousing and logistics of Hotel De Anza’s new furnishings, equipment, fixtures, and supplies. This means we will be working to carefully itemize and keep a detailed inventory of all items for the hotel, storing them until needed, and then distributing them to the hotel when it comes time for the items to be retrieved.

Our San Jose logistics team is one of the top in the area, offering organized, efficient, and detail-oriented services to help with everything from hotel moving to merchandise distribution. We can’t wait to see the fruits of hard labor when the Hotel De Anza shows off its new furnishings.
