Family owned and operated since 1981, Piedmont Moving and Storage is an award winning company focused on honesty, integrity and community service. Our business is positioned to serve from our 18 acre property located at 7th and Alma streets in San Jose. We’ve invested in our business offering customers a financially sound, debt-free, secure operation.
We are a Christian company and we strive to conduct business in a manner in accordance with our faith in Jesus Christ and his teachings. To this end, we are actively involved in several local charitable and community initiatives. Partnered with CityTeam Ministries, we volunteer our time and trucks to Turning Wheels For Kids, a Bay Area charity that provides new bicycles to underprivileged children in our area. Piedmont's owners also ride their motorcycles each year in the Kyle Petty Charity Ride, a fund-raising event on behalf of Victory Junction, a camp for disabled children. Our Mayflower trucks provide the transportation of motorcycles before and after the event. We also make our warehouse available as a practice space and gymnasium for Achiever Christian School.
